Washing, use, and durability
Simple care preserves color and brilliance. Dishwasher use is permitted at low temperatures: the material requires delicate treatment, even when washed by hand.
- Wash the product before first use and check that it is intact.
- In the dishwasher, choose a delicate, low-temperature program. Avoid intensive cycles, high temperatures, and high-temperature drying; use a mild detergent compatible with acrylic materials and follow the package instructions.
- By hand, use lukewarm water, mild detergent, and a soft, non-abrasive sponge. Rinse well and dry with a clean soft cloth, without rubbing dry.
- Avoid scouring pads, abrasive powders, and micro-abrasive sponges, including melamine or "magic" sponges. They can scratch or dull the surface even during manual washing.
- For cleaning, do not use alcohol, solvents, aggressive detergents, or anti-limescale agents not expressly compatible with acrylic. These indications concern cleaning products, not the normal intended use of the item.
- Do not use in the oven or microwave, do not boil, and keep away from flames, hot plates, and sources of intense heat. This is a service item, not a vessel for cooking or heating.
- Avoid violent impacts and drops. To store it, choose a stable, non-abrasive surface, away from heat and prolonged direct sunlight.
- Check integrity before use. In the presence of cracks, deep scratches, or evident dulling, discontinue use in contact with food and replace the product.
Shock-resistant does not mean indestructible or scratch-proof. Excessive heat, abrasion, and incompatible cleaning products can alter the surface: to keep it in the best condition, follow these indications and those on the packaging.
Safety and food contact
Reusable MS/methacrylate item intended for contact with food and beverages. Memento Synth documentation declares the material BPA-free and cites references to Reg. (EC) 1935/2004 and Reg. (EU) 10/2011 and subsequent amendments for food contact materials, as well as Reg. (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety. Production batch indicated on the packaging. Country of production: China. Check integrity and usage instructions; do not use in oven or microwave. In the presence of children, use with adult supervision: this is not a toy.
The story of Memento bubbles
MEMENTO has transformed glassware into a personal way of living the table: research into color, recognizable shapes, and unmistakable Bally bubbles. In the Memento Originale glass line, the bubbles are linked to the craftsmanship and mouth-blowing process. Memento Synth takes up this visual identity in a synthetic material, with its own range of shapes and colors: Synth is not mouth-blown glass. The collection combines transparency, brilliance, and color for a table that expresses your style. “To be yourself you must be me”.
For product end-of-life, follow your local municipal guidelines for this type of recyclable plastic item. Reuse it in compliance with the care instructions, without using it for food contact when it is damaged.
Ideas for your table
The glass accompanies the plate and ties the colors of the table together. Complete the service with a pitcher, then pick up a shade in the plates or napkins for an ensemble that feels like yours.
