Washing, use, and durability
Simple care preserves color and brilliance. Dishwashing is permitted at low temperatures: the material requires delicate handling, even when washed by hand.
- Wash the product before first use and check that it is intact.
- In the dishwasher, choose a delicate, low-temperature program. Avoid intensive cycles, high temperatures, and high-temperature drying; use a mild detergent compatible with acrylic materials and follow the instructions on the packaging.
- By hand, use lukewarm water, mild detergent, and a soft, non-abrasive sponge. Rinse well and dry with a clean, soft cloth without scrubbing dry.
- Avoid scouring pads, abrasive powders, and micro-abrasive sponges, including melamine or “magic” sponges. These can scratch or dull the surface even when washed by hand.
- For cleaning, do not use alcohol, solvents, harsh detergents, or descalers not expressly compatible with acrylic. These instructions refer to cleaning products, not the normal intended use of the item.
- Do not use in an oven or microwave, do not boil, and keep away from flames, hot plates, and sources of intense heat. It is a service item, not a container for cooking or heating.
- Avoid violent impacts and falls. To store it, choose a stable, non-abrasive surface, away from heat and prolonged direct sunlight.
- Check for integrity before use. If there are cracks, deep scratches, or evident dulling, discontinue use in contact with food and replace the product.
Shock-resistant does not mean indestructible or scratch-proof. Excessive heat, abrasion, and incompatible cleaning products can alter the surface: to keep it in the best condition, follow these indications and those on the packaging.
Safety and food contact
Reusable item in MS/methacrylate intended for contact with food and beverages. The Memento Synth documentation declares the material BPA-free and cites Reg. (EC) 1935/2004 and Reg. (EU) 10/2011 and subsequent amendments regarding materials in contact with food, as well as Reg. (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety. Production batch indicated on the packaging. Country of production: China. Check integrity and usage instructions; do not use in oven or microwave. Use under adult supervision in the presence of children: this is not a toy.
The story of Memento bubbles
MEMENTO has transformed glassware into a personal way of experiencing the table: a pursuit of color, recognizable shapes, and unmistakable Bally bubbles. In the Memento Originale glass line, the bubbles are linked to the craftsmanship and hand-blowing process. Memento Synth takes this visual identity and applies it to a synthetic material with its own range of shapes and colors: Synth is not hand-blown glass. The collection combines transparency, brilliance, and color for a table that expresses your style. “To be yourself you must be me”.
For end-of-life disposal, follow your local council's guidelines for this type of recyclable plastic item. Reuse it according to the care instructions, without using it for food contact once damaged.
Ideas for your table
The chalice completes a table designed for the pleasure of being together. Pair it with a water glass and choose plates and cutlery that complement its character, from daily lunches to dinners with guests.
