Washing, use, and durability
Simple care preserves color and brilliance. Dishwasher use is permitted at low temperatures: the material requires gentle treatment, even when washing by hand.
- Wash the product before the first use and check that it is intact.
- In the dishwasher, choose a gentle program at a low temperature. Avoid intensive cycles, high temperatures, and high-temperature drying; use a mild detergent compatible with acrylic materials and follow the instructions on the packaging.
- By hand, use lukewarm water, mild detergent, and a soft, non-abrasive sponge. Rinse well and dry with a clean, soft cloth without scrubbing dry.
- Avoid scouring pads, abrasive powders, and micro-abrasive sponges, including melamine or “magic” sponges. These can scratch or dull the surface even during manual washing.
- Do not use alcohol, solvents, harsh detergents, or limescale removers that are not explicitly compatible with acrylic for cleaning. These indications concern cleaning products, not the item's normal intended use.
- Do not use in an oven or microwave, do not boil, and keep away from flames, hot plates, and intense heat sources. This is a serving item, not a container for cooking or heating.
- Avoid violent impacts and falls. To store, choose a stable, non-abrasive surface, away from heat and prolonged direct sunlight.
- Check for integrity before use. In the presence of cracks, deep scratches, or evident dulling, discontinue use with food and replace the product.
Shock-resistant does not mean indestructible or scratch-proof. Excessive heat, abrasion, and incompatible cleaning products can alter the surface: to keep it in the best condition, follow these indications and those on the packaging.
Safety and food contact
Reusable MS/methacrylate item intended for contact with food and beverages. Memento Synth documentation declares the material BPA-free and cites references to Reg. (EC) 1935/2004 and Reg. (EU) 10/2011 and subsequent amendments for materials in contact with food, as well as Reg. (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety. Production batch indicated on the packaging. Country of production: China. Check for integrity and instructions for use; do not use in the oven or microwave. If used with children, use under adult supervision: this is not a toy.
The story of Memento bubbles
MEMENTO has transformed glassware into a personal way of experiencing the table: a pursuit of color, recognizable shapes, and unmistakable Bally bubbles. In the glass Memento Originale line, the bubbles are linked to the handcrafted blowing process. Memento Synth takes up this visual identity in a synthetic material, with its own range of shapes and colors: Synth is not blown glass. The collection combines transparency, brilliance, and color for a table that expresses your style. “To be yourself you must be me”.
At the end of the product's life, follow your local council's guidelines for this type of recyclable plastic item. Reuse it while following the care instructions, without using it for food contact once damaged.
Ideas for your table
The glass accompanies the plate and ties the colors of the table together. Complete the set with a pitcher, then pick up a shade in the plates or napkins for a set that feels like yours.
