Washing, use, and durability
Simple care preserves color and brilliance. Dishwashing is permitted at low temperatures: the material requires gentle treatment, even when washing by hand.
- Wash the product before first use and check that it is intact.
- In the dishwasher, choose a gentle low-temperature program. Avoid intensive cycles, high temperatures, and high-temperature drying; use a gentle detergent compatible with acrylic materials and follow the instructions on the packaging.
- By hand, use lukewarm water, mild detergent, and a soft, non-abrasive sponge. Rinse well and dry with a clean, soft cloth without rubbing while dry.
- Avoid scourers, abrasive powders, and micro-abrasive sponges, including melamine or “magic” sponges. These can scratch or dull the surface even during manual washing.
- For cleaning, do not use alcohol, solvents, harsh detergents, or limescale removers not explicitly compatible with acrylic. These instructions refer to cleaning products, not the normal intended use of the item.
- Do not use in the oven or microwave, do not boil, and keep away from flames, hot plates, and intense heat sources. It is a service item, not a container for cooking or heating.
- Avoid violent impacts and drops. For storage, choose a stable, non-abrasive surface, away from heat and prolonged direct sunlight.
- Check for integrity before use. In case of cracks, deep scratches, or obvious dulling, stop using for food contact and replace the product.
Shock-resistant does not mean indestructible or scratch-proof. Excessive heat, abrasion, and incompatible cleaning products can alter the surface: to keep it at its best, follow these instructions and those on the packaging.
Safety and food contact
Reusable MS/methacrylate item intended for contact with food and drinks. The Memento Synth documentation declares the material is BPA-free and cites references to Reg. (EC) 1935/2004 and Reg. (EU) 10/2011 and subsequent amendments for food contact materials, as well as Reg. (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety. Production batch indicated on the packaging. Country of production: China. Check integrity and usage instructions; do not use in the oven or microwave. If children are present, use under adult supervision: it is not a toy.
The story of Memento bubbles
MEMENTO has transformed glassware into a personal way of experiencing the table: search for color, recognizable shapes, and unmistakable Bally bubbles. In the Memento Originale glass line, the bubbles are linked to handcrafted, blown-glass techniques. Memento Synth takes this visual identity into a synthetic material, with its own range of shapes and colors: Synth is not blown glass. The collection combines transparency, brilliance, and color for a table that expresses your style. “To be yourself you must be me”.
For the end-of-life of the product, follow your local council's instructions for this type of recyclable plastic item. Reuse it according to the care instructions, without using it for food contact when damaged.
Ideas for your table
The glass accompanies the plate and ties the table colors together. Complete the service with a pitcher, then pick up a shade in the plates or napkins for a set that feels like your own.

- MEMENTO SYNTH Medium Bowl, Mandarin Yellow methacrylate bowl: Another piece from the Bally line, Memento Synth bubbles.
