Washing, use, and durability
Simple care preserves color and brilliance. Dishwasher use is permitted at low temperatures: the material requires gentle treatment, even when washing by hand.
- Wash the product before the first use and check that it is intact.
- In the dishwasher, choose a delicate, low-temperature program. Avoid intensive cycles, high temperatures, and high-temperature drying; use a gentle detergent compatible with acrylic materials and follow the instructions on the packaging.
- By hand, use lukewarm water, mild detergent, and a soft, non-abrasive sponge. Rinse well and dry with a clean, soft cloth without scrubbing.
- Avoid scouring pads, abrasive powders, and micro-abrasive sponges, including melamine or “magic” sponges. These can scratch or dull the surface even during manual washing.
- Do not use alcohol, solvents, harsh detergents, or limescale removers that are not explicitly compatible with acrylic for cleaning. These indications refer to cleaning products, not the article’s normal intended use.
- Do not use in the oven or microwave, do not boil, and keep away from flames, hot plates, and intense heat sources. This is a serving item, not a vessel for cooking or heating.
- Avoid violent impacts and drops. When storing, choose a stable, non-abrasive surface, away from heat and prolonged direct sunlight.
- Check for integrity before use. In case of cracks, deep scratches, or noticeable clouding, stop using the product for food contact and replace it.
Shock-resistant does not mean indestructible or scratch-proof. Excessive heat, abrasion, and incompatible cleaning products can alter the surface: to keep it in the best condition, follow these indications and those on the packaging.
