Descrizione

«ETTORE SOTTSASS ALWAYS SAYS THAT FOR HIM ARCHITECTURES DO NOT ONLY SERVE TO CIRCUMSTANCE A SPACE: THEY CONTINUE "OUT". THEY TOUCH THE EXTERNAL SPACE, THEY PERMEATE IT. IT ALSO SAYS THAT THE ARCHITECTURE OF THINGS, ITS CONSTRUCTION STRUCTURE, MUST BE SOMETHING UNEQUIVOCABLE. AND IT IS PRECISELY THIS UNEQUIVOCABILITY OF ARCHITECTURE ALLOWS THE MATTER TO SPEAK. IT ALLOWS YOU TO MAKE IT BECOME MAGIC, CONSOLATION, PLEASURE."
Roberto Zani

Just for flowers are six small single-flower vases, each produced in a limited series of 49 pieces, designed by Ettore Sottsass for the Metallia project by Serafino Zani. Each piece bears the designer's signature on the bottom and is accompanied by a certificate of uniqueness and authenticity. Six small pewter architectures: fragments of walls arranged to delimit hollow volumes, small undulating walls and slender cylinders that support each other with unstable balances, causing repeated plays of light and shadow.

Basic volumes, deliberately incomplete, which give this ancient material new chromatic accents, giving it back contemporaneity and emotion. So that contemporary pewter continues to tell new stories in everyday life.

The six vases in the collection were made in 49 copies for each piece, signed by the author and accompanied by a certificate certifying their authenticity.
