5 Padel 3PLY Steel Pan by Serafino Zani, 24 cm diameter: three materials for a versatile pan, no seasoning required.

The 5 Padel line is declared by the manufacturer to be free of PFAS, PFOA, and PTFE. The cooking surface is free of synthetic non-stick coatings.

The 3PLY construction combines stainless steel, aluminum, and ferritic steel. The stainless steel offers a durable and easy-to-care-for surface, the aluminum contributes to heat distribution, and the ferritic layer allows for induction use. Use it to sear, sauté vegetables, and finish a sauce: it does not require the seasoning of iron or carbon steel.

Care and use

Allow to cool before washing. Use hot water, mild detergent, and a non-abrasive sponge; for stubborn residue, soften the grime with water and detergent before removing it. Rinse and dry to limit streaks and deposits. Do not use bleach or chlorine-based products, and do not rapidly cool a hot pan. Stainless steel does not require seasoning: cooking performance depends on gradual preheating and proper management of heat and fats. For dishwasher and oven use, as well as handles and lids, follow the specific instructions for each item.

Food-grade suitability and MOCA compliance are declared by the manufacturer for the intended uses. Use clean, undamaged surfaces and follow the product-specific instructions. Vessels, handles, and lids can become hot: use suitable pot holders. For any oven use, respect the limits for the body, handles, and lid.
