Guests of life is the theme proposed to Remo Bodei that gave rise to a philosophical reflection on our time and the relationship with things . The essay, written for Numa in March 2006, is published in a small volume in a limited edition, hand-made according to the precious techniques of art publications.

For this book Michele De Lucchi and Giuseppe Rivadossi have designed two limited edition cases, made of leather and aluminum and wood which, together with the book, will become part of Numa's 2006 Limited Edition collections.

Remo Bodei was Professor of Philosophy at the University of California, Los Angeles, after having taught for a long time at the Scuola Normale Superiore and the University of Pisa. He first dealt with classical German idealism and aesthetics, more recently with theories of individuality and logical and temporal anomalies.
