Washing, use, and durability
Simple care preserves color and brilliance. Dishwasher use is permitted at low temperatures: the material requires gentle treatment, even when washing by hand.
- Wash the product before first use and check that it is intact.
- In the dishwasher, choose a gentle program at a low temperature. Avoid intensive cycles, high temperatures, and high-temperature drying; use a mild detergent compatible with acrylic materials and follow the instructions on the packaging.
- By hand, use lukewarm water, mild detergent, and a soft, non-abrasive sponge. Rinse well and dry with a clean, soft cloth, without rubbing dry.
- Avoid steel wool, abrasive powders, and micro-abrasive sponges, including melamine or “magic” sponges. They can scratch or dull the surface even during manual washing.
- Do not use alcohol, solvents, harsh detergents, or limescale removers that are not explicitly compatible with acrylic for cleaning. These indications refer to cleaning products, not to the normal intended use of the item.
- Do not use in the oven or microwave, do not boil, and keep away from flames, hot plates, and intense heat sources. It is a service item, not a vessel for cooking or heating.
- Avoid violent impacts and falls. To store it, choose a stable and non-abrasive surface, away from heat and prolonged direct sunlight.
- Check integrity before use. In the presence of cracks, deep scratches, or evident dulling, stop use for food contact and replace the product.
Shock-resistant does not mean indestructible or scratch-proof. Excessive heat, abrasion, and incompatible cleaning products can alter the surface: to keep it in the best condition, follow these indications and those on the packaging.
Safety and food contact
Reusable item in MS/methacrylate intended for contact with food and drinks. The Memento Synth documentation declares the material BPA-free and provides references to Reg. (EC) 1935/2004 and Reg. (EU) 10/2011 and subsequent amendments for materials in contact with food, as well as Reg. (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety. Production batch indicated on the packaging. Country of production: China. Check integrity and usage instructions; do not use in the oven or microwave. Use under adult supervision if children are present: it is not a toy.
The story of Memento bubbles
MEMENTO has transformed glassware into a personal way of experiencing the table: the pursuit of color, recognizable shapes, and the unmistakable Bally bubbles. In the glass Memento Originale line, the bubbles are linked to the artisan craftsmanship and glass blowing. Memento Synth reclaims this visual identity in a synthetic material, with its own range of shapes and colors: Synth is not blown glass. The collection combines transparency, brilliance, and color for a table that expresses your style. “To be yourself you must be me”.
For the end-of-life of the product, follow your local municipality's guidelines for this type of recyclable plastic item. Reuse it in compliance with the care instructions, without using it for food contact when it is damaged.
Ideas for your table
