LUX • High saucepan ø 16 cm - SERAFINO ZANI

Lux saucepan, 16 cm diameter, without lid. A cookware series made of 18/10 stainless steel, with a mirror-polished exterior, the Lux line is suitable for use on magnetic induction and glass-ceramic cooktops, as well as traditional hobs.
The thick heat-diffusing base is made of 99% aluminum, encased in a layer of steel: this allows for even heat distribution across the entire body of the utensil.

Serafino Zani still manufactures its cookware at its factory in Lumezzane, Brescia, using exclusively high-quality stainless steel (18/10). This material is the only one that guarantees maximum hygiene when in contact with food, near-eternal durability, and extreme ease of cleaning and maintenance.
Steel is used in all components and details, and is always applied in generous thicknesses to ensure optimal heat distribution and durability. All steel cookware features a special heat-diffusing base patented by Tarcisio Zani (USA patent 4204607), composed of a pure aluminum core encased in a double stainless steel base. This base allows for optimal heat distribution throughout the pan with minimal energy consumption, and allows the cookware to be used on gas, electric, glass-ceramic, and induction hobs.
All handles are designed to slow down heat transmission, paying attention to the materials, shapes, and surfaces in contact with the body of the pan.
The lid is housed in a recess that prevents it from jumping while cooking and from letting steam escape, wasting heat.
