Washing, use, and durability
Simple care preserves color and brilliance. Dishwashing is allowed at low temperatures: the material requires delicate treatment, even when washing by hand.
- Wash the product before first use and check that it is intact.
- In the dishwasher, choose a delicate low-temperature program. Avoid intensive cycles, high temperatures, and high-temperature drying; use a mild detergent compatible with acrylic materials and follow the instructions on the packaging.
- When washing by hand, use lukewarm water, mild detergent, and a soft, non-abrasive sponge. Rinse well and dry with a clean, soft cloth without rubbing while dry.
- Avoid scouring pads, abrasive powders, and micro-abrasive sponges, including melamine or “magic” sponges. These can scratch or dull the surface even during manual washing.
- Do not use alcohol, solvents, harsh detergents, or limescale removers not expressly compatible with acrylic for cleaning. These indications refer to cleaning products, not to the normal intended use of the item.
- Do not use in the oven or microwave, do not boil, and keep away from flames, hot plates, and intense heat sources. It is a service item, not a container for cooking or heating.
- Avoid violent impacts and falls. To store, choose a stable, non-abrasive surface, away from heat and prolonged direct sunlight.
- Check for integrity before use. In the presence of cracks, deep scratches, or noticeable dullness, stop using it for food contact and replace the product.
Shock-resistant does not mean indestructible or scratch-proof. Excessive heat, abrasion, and incompatible cleaning products can alter the surface: to keep it in the best condition, follow these instructions and those on the packaging.
