Olympia • pot ø 16 cm - SERAFINO ZANI
Serafino Zani manufactures his pans in the company in Lumezzane, Brescia, using exclusively high quality stainless steel. Steel is used in all components and details, and is always applied in generous thicknesses which guarantee constant heat distribution and non-deformability over time. The pan is equipped with the special heat-diffusing bottom patented by Tarcisio Zani - USA patent 4204607 - composed of a pure aluminum core 'imprisoned' inside a double stainless steel bottom. The use of this base allows for optimal heat distribution on the body of the pan with minimal energy expenditure, and the possibility of using the utensils on gas, electric, glass-ceramic and induction hobs. The edge of the pot has a coining that allows the lid to fit very precisely, preventing the steam from coming out quickly, wasting heat, and the lid from dancing. The Serafino Zani handles are designed to significantly slow down the heat transmission, paying attention to the materials, shapes and surfaces in contact with the body of the pan. Specifically, the handles are made from an 18/10 stainless steel rod, bent into an arc and subsequently worked on the part welded to the body, thus making the weld more resistant to impacts.
The very arched shape of the handles makes it easy to grip and slows down overheating due to the proximity to the body of the pan.
Love for things done well, attention to the relationship between beauty and functionality of the object, search for an innovative and original design: this is perceived when picking up a pot made in Italy by Serafino Zani.
